PDS experience and proven capability in providing integrated infrastructure projects enables us to offer overall project solutions combining the separate PMS, ITS, communication and radio systems elements into a fully integrated system, thus realising specific and unique project benefits.

Overall system integration enables the efficient generation of dynamic Active Traffic Management, and effective presentation of Dynamic Driver Information such as “Road Condition” and “Time in Transit”.

The majority of our project solutions generally require at least one and often many special interfaces, using a range of data protocols and formats. PDS has a software engineering team to provide this capability together with the ability to provide specialist software and product development (e.g. SCANLIGHT and the Tyne Toll PERMIT system). We believe that this integration capability sets PDS apart from many system suppliers.

Solutions are available to interface with MIDAS, COBS, UTMS (Urban Traffic Management Systems) via such as NMCSII and IP Ethernet technology.
