Message from our client:
This morning, as you well know, we successfully opened the southbound carriageway to traffic. The opening ceremony went extremely well and the A3 team were highly praised for bringing the scheme on time and on budget.

The media attention was extensive and very positive. We have also managed to deliver the opening working a million man-hours without a reportable accident which is a tremendous achievement.......

.........Thank you once again for all your contributions in making the A3 Hindhead scheme a success. Good luck for the next phase.

Our client announces: “The Hatfield Tunnel successfully re-opened on time at 04.15am this morning at 70mph with all road works removed; a significant achievement by all concerned not only by completing the project on time through very difficult circumstances of retaining a safe open road for the public over the past 2 years but also achieving this with over 900,000 project hours without a lost time incident.

The Hatfield Tunnel Refurbishment project has been a significant challenge in that we have had to manage the general Public, live traffic, Customer deliveries, the Environment, interaction with the Civil works, Working at Height, Live Electricity etc.

With all this in mind we also must take account of the efforts of our Sub Contractors in achieving this milestone, some of which are listed below:-
“List included PDS”

Also not forgetting the Project has also achieved a RoSPA Gold, a Considerate Contractors Silver awards, and a project AFR of 0.00, to name some”

PDS is proud to have been involved with this successful project.
